ROSELLE, NJ - Tuesday evening the Abraham Clark High School (ACHS), held its commencement ceremony for the Class of 2016.

Rashon Mickens, Principal at Abraham Clark and Roselle Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kevin West, welcomed Jonathan A. Mason, Sr. the 34th International President of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, as the events commencement keynote speaker.

“I’ve stood on the Mall of Washington, and spoken to over 255 thousand. I’ve been on FOX, MSNBC, CNN, and many other channels you can imagine, speaking to millions, but I’ve had no greater honor than standing before the Abraham Clark High School this evening and congratulating you on receiving your high school diploma,” said Mason. “I’m so proud of you. I look forward to seeing the greatness that you will shed upon this earth.”

The event concluded with Principal Mickens asking the graduating class, “What are we?” The class responded by yelling, “Ram Ready!”

Goethals Bridge to New Jersey to be Closed Friday Night through Sunday

ELIZABETH, NJ - The Goethals Bridge to New Jersey will be closed to all traffic beginning 9 p.m. Friday, May 18 until 9 p.m. Sunday, May 20.
