ROSELLE PARK, NJ - It’s election time again and what would an election be without controversy? Saul Qersdyn, Publisher of the Roselle Park News, published a story on Friday that disclosed that a letter from the Casano Committee Chair was sent to Roselle Park Mayor Carl Hokanson that proposed a policy that would allegedly infringe on the public's freedom of speech. Qersdyn obtained that letter through an OPRA (Open Public Records Act) request.
As seen here, photos from TAPinto appear to show one of the candidates' wives wearing a “Democratic Party Shirt” at the Peruvian Day celebration on July 12th at the Casano Community Center.
The next Casano Center Committee meeting, which is open to the public, is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2nd, at 6 p.m.
