Come Shop Small Business Saturday this Weekend

ROSELLE/ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Local downtown businesses are an important part of most communities. Shop Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to supporting local businesses, is November 28. A number of our local businesses have sales and promotional events to kick off the holiday shopping season.

“By shopping locally and supporting the work of local people who are creating beautiful, one of a kind pieces you’re both supporting the arts and giving us the ability to bring working artists right into your town! Plus, you can get quality items and experiences  right in your hometown,” said Megan Connelly, Owner of Art & Soul Gallery located on Chestnut Street in Downtown Roselle Park.

Art & Soul will be holding a “Shop & Sip Event” on Saturday from 5-8pm in support of the event. “We will have two jewelry artists, two local craftspeople, and a 31 saleswoman on site, plus other hand made gifts you can't get in big stores,” said Connelly who also said that “Wine and Treats” will be complimentary!

“I own three Dunkin Donut locations, two in Roselle and 1 in Roselle Park,” said Vik Arora franchise owner. “While I may be a franchise, I am still a local merchant and it takes the local people coming into my store to help make me successful. I also think that having Dunkins in town helps to bring people into the community and they see what other businesses have to offer.”

Dunkin is offering a gift card for the holiday season! 10 Large Coffee or Teas for 15.99 plus tax. (Regular price - $25.00)

There are many local deals out there to be found. If you’re looking for a list of small businesses please check our Facebook site where other local business owners have the opportunity to post their sales and specials for everyone to see.

Remember to shop downtown Roselle and Roselle Park on Saturday!
