ROSELLE, NJ - The Roselle Board of Health will sponsor free Rabies Vaccination Clinics for cats and dogs on Friday, May 5, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at Borough Hall, 210 Chestnut Street. Immunity duration is three years for dogs and cats previously vaccinated. First-time vaccinations are good for one year.

There is no license requirement for cats. Dogs are required to have a 2017 license. Dog licenses will be available. The cost is $9 for spayed/neutered dogs, and $12 for non-spayed/neutered dogs. All dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers. 

Keeping pets up to date on rabies shots is the law in New Jersey, it is also in the best interest of animals, families and the community.
