ROSELLE, NJ - Fugitive 25yr. old Nathaniel Price of Roselle turned himself in to Roselle Police at approximately 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to acting Union County Prosecutor Grace H. Park and Roselle Police Chief Gerard Orlando.

According to authorities, Price was being sought by police in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in Roselle shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Jan.21, when Roselle Police Department units rushed to the 1000 block of Rivington Street to find 21-year-old Tyquan Johnson of Newark, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to University Hospital in Newark, where he was pronounced dead later in the day. 

A joint investigation involving the Union County Homicide Task Force, Roselle Police Department, Union County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit, and Union County Police Department Ballistics Unit quickly resulted in Price being identified as a suspect in the case, prompting a multi-state search also involving members of the U.S. Marshals Service.

Police said, Price was charged with murder and related weapons offenses in connection with Johnson’s death and was lodged in Union County Jail pending a detention hearing.
