ROSELLE/ROSELLE PARK, NJ – The elaborate decorations showed that Roselle Park really takes Halloween seriously while Roselle was going for that shock factor with their haunted house.

Trick or treat and costume fun is not just for the kids, and it was obvious if you were on Bender Avenue in Roselle Park. With the weather cooperating, over a thousand people participated. So many crazy costumes it was worth going just to take it all in. These residents don’t just hand out candy, although no one could actually tell how much candy they had given out. Remarked one resident, “I can’t even tell you in pounds how much we have handed out, but it’s a great crowd and everyone is enjoying themselves.”

If you were in the mood to be scared out of your shoes, then Roselle was the place to be with their “Nightmare on Chestnut” which according to 14 year old Cody Appleman commented while still shaking in fear, “It was way scarier than last year!”
