ROSELLE PARK, NJ -  A 19 year old female reported that an individual familiar to her entered her vehicle on Saturday, May 17th, 2014, while she was parked on Sherman Ave. The male was later identified by police as Dillon Saba, age 19, from Roselle Park.

When Saba entered the vehicle he brandished a knife and ordered her to drive while he threatened to use the knife against her and at one point stabbed the dashboard of her vehicle. At his direction, she drove to several locations around the area for approximately an hour and a half. Finally, the victim was able to convince Saba to turn over the knife, she discarded it before she was able to separate herself from him and flee the area.

The Roselle Park Police Department was notified and started the investigation. Several hours later the suspect, Dillon Saba, was located at a nearby hospital, where he was charged with kidnapping, terroristic threats, possession of a weapon, possession of a knife for an unlawful purpose, and criminal mischief. Bail was set at $100,000. He later posted bail and was released.
