ROSELLE, NJ - The "New Beginnings School Book Bag Drive" is back for 2017. Mayor Christine Dansereau and Roselle Sponsors are looking to help young learners start the school year off strong and prepared!
“We have an ambitious goal to fill 500 book bags and we need as many people as possible that can help to donate,” said Dansereau.
Financial donations are being accepted and/or school supplies can be dropped off at Roselle Borough Hall, 210 Chestnut Street. Hours of drop of are as follows, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Supplies can also be dropped of any time at the Roselle Police Department, also located at 210 Chestnut Street.
Financial donations made in lieu of or in addition to supplies should be made out to the Borough of Roselle, with “New Beginnings Book Bag Drive” in the memo line. Checks can be mailed or delivered to Borough of Roselle, 210 Chestnut Street, Roselle, NJ, 07203.
The “Book Bag Giveaway" will take place on Saturday, September 2, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Roselle Borough Council Chambers.
*Book bags are for Roselle presidents only. Proof of residency is required.
