SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Police are searching for the suspects who carjacked a vehicle in the parking lot of the Scotchwood Diner (1928 Route 22) in Scotch Plains just before 1 a.m. today, according to Breaking News Network (BNN).

Police arrived and were told that two male suspects, who reportedly did not display a weapon, took a white Toyota Camry from the victim and then sped away from the scene and onto Route 22 East, according to RLS Media.

RLS also reported that  "Be on the lookout" notice was put out to surrounding municipalities for the vehicle. Police reportedly found the vehicle near Lawrence Avenue in Westfield after the suspects bailed out of the car, according to the RLS report. There are no immediate reports of arrests yet.
