ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Music filled the Casano Community Center on Sunday afternoon and dancers with wonderfully colored costumes representing regions of Peru in celebration of Fiestas Patrias Peruanas.

The standing room only crowd from around Union County enjoyed a host of folklore dance routines from a cornucopia of entertainers.

One of  the many entertainers, Moises Chaupiz, El Varon del Folklore gathered the attendees to dance along while Alison Lopez, representing the Sierra region “Valicha” and Lucero Lopez representing the Selva Region “Chipiba” danced with style and grace.

Members of the Governing Body were present while volunteers of the community center helped serve food provided by Cebbellini Peruvian Restaurant in Elizabeth and Don Alex Peruvian Restaurant.
