ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Roselle Park Day may have had some rain, but that did not stop the the show.
Many events were either moved around or changed to Sunday, but the community still enjoyed the weekend. Due to the rainy weather on Saturday, the car show on Chestnut Street was held on Sunday near the gazebo. Local judges picked the top winners and gave out trophies, which were sponsored by local Roselle Park businesses.
Tickets were given out to the public for a raffle, which was held before the trophies were awarded. Three lucky winners each won a tote bag filled with Roselle Park goodies, including a t-shirt and coupons to local stores.
A brand new yoga center, The Little Shop of Yoga, which will be opening Oct. 1, gave out water and healthy snacks and information on the center. They will be offering Yoga Fit, Vinyasa, Kemetic, Hot Yoga, Body Sculpting and Personal Training. They are located at 208 Chestnut St.. You can contact them at 908-445-5734 for more information or to welcome them to the neighborhood.
There was also a children’s art show and activities including dancers from Planet Dance, on Saturday night at the public library.
