ROSELLE, NJ - A new ordinance was passed in Roselle where landlords will have to be licensed.
Mayor Jamel C. Holley and the Borough of Roselle are focused on improving the quality of life and ensuring that every home in the community is safe and meets all physical and occupancy standards.
If you are a landlord or intend to be one, the Borough of Roselle is informing all landlords of this new ordinance that goes into effect on January 1, 2015, known as “Rental Property Licensing and Compliance.” Under this new local law, (Ordinance # 2484-2014), all rental units in Roselle must be licensed annually. The annual fee is $50 per unit.
