ROSELLE, NJ - Do you want to make $200 for a 14 hour day ($14.29 per hour)?  That is what Poll Workers receive for working on Tuesdays of the Primary Election on June 2nd and the General Election on November 3rd. Yes, you will have to go to a training class but that is only every two years. The Board contacts you directly about this.

Mr. Roger Stryeski, the Roselle Republican Committee Chairman, has 20 slots open in Roselle at various locations in the Boro. He is looking for Union County registered Republican voters and those who are Unaffiliated voters in Roselle and Roselle Park. Democrat voters married to and offspring of Republican voters are accepted as a professional courtesy.

The advantage of going through a Chairman is that your polling station is locked in as opposed to being a general appointment through the Board of Elections. At present, there are slots at Boro Hall, the Fire House and Harrison, Abraham Clark High, Washington, Moore and Wilday Schools. It is first come, first serve.

The Chairman may be reached at He would like requests by March 15th since they have to reach the Board of Elections by Mar 20th. Note: appointments are for both elections.
