ROSELLE, NJ - Roselle Police Department along with Roselle PBA hosted their annual National Night Out event that was held at Pine Street Park on Tuesday evening. Roselle Mayor Christine Dansereau and Borough Council Members joined the large number of residents who came out for an evening of fun and getting to know each other.
The Roselle Officers and Office of Emergency Management (OEM) members hosted many activities such as a fish pond for the children, tee-shirt painting, hola hoop contests, gift basket giveaways and many other activities that kept everyone entertained and having a great time. The grills were blazing with burgers, hot dogs and many other items including fresh watermelon.
“I would like to thank everyone that volunteered their time to help with National Night Out. It was amazing to sit back (only for a few seconds though) to watch the community come out to support each other and have a great time.” said Sergeant and Deputy Coordinator for Roselle OEM, Helder Freire. “Thank you to Roselle Police Department, Roselle PBA, Roselle Office of Emergency Management, Roselle Fire Department, Mayor and Council, District 20 Assembly, Roselle DPW, and Borough Hall employees for all your hard work today. We couldn't have done it or had a successful night without you all!”
