TOMS RIVER, NJ - The Roselle Catholic boys basketball team defeated St. Anthony of Jersey City on Saturday to win its third straight state championship.

Isiah Briscoe, the No.1 college recruit in the country and star of the game, led the team to victory at the NJSIAA Non-Public B finals at the Sun Belt Arena in Toms River by a score of 56-52. Briscoe, a guard headed to the University of Kentucky, scored 17 points for the Lions.

Roselle Catholic has been awarded the top seed--and a first-round bye--in the Tournament of Champions that begins this week. Roselle Catholic will play the winner of the Bergenfield-Paulsboro game Friday night at Pine Belt Arena in Toms River.
