ROSELLE, NJ - After many months of construction, the Agape House of Worship opened its doors for the first time for service and for the community to see the new and much larger location at 239 E. 1st Ave. in Roselle on Sunday.
Roselle Mayor Christine Dansereau along with Peraltte Wilfrid, president of the Roselle Chamber of Commerce, congratulated and complimented Lead Pastor Jide Lawore on their new building.
“The rooms are so beautifully decorated with colors that are bright and welcoming, its just stunning,” said Mayor Dansereau as she was lead on a tour through the youth section of the building.
The church boasts many rooms that include a bookstore, visitors' lounge, cafe, children's church, youth chapel, a banquet hall with full industrial kitchen and a special needs child ministry along with many, other rooms.
The main chapel contains a sound equipment booth and two big video screens on each side of the large stage. There is also a separate quiet room for parents with children.
While some rooms were not completed for the dedication of the building, the final touches are scheduled to be finished within the couple of weeks.
Agape House of Worship is a designed to attract people with diverse backgrounds.
