ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Police responded to a report of shoplifting at World of Liquor in Roselle Park on Friday July 14, at approximately 11:51 p.m. The caller gave a description of the man as he fled from the store. Officers en route to the location, Ptl Jeffery Smith and Ptl. Robert Harms located a male fitting the clothing description. 

Police said, Andre Lewis, age 28, of Roselle was found to be in possession of a bottle of alcohol, concealed in the sleeve of his jacket.  Lewis was subsequently charged with Shoplifting.

After checking the store’s security camera footage, Police said, Lewis was additionally charged with a prior incident of shoplifting the same type of alcohol from the same location on July 6, 2017.

Police say, Lewis was wanted on two outstanding warrants from Bloomfield and West Caldwell. Lewis was transported to Bloomfield Police Department and has a pending court date in Roselle Park on July 20, 2017.
