ROSELLE PARK, NJ - A local resident contacted the Roselle Park Police stating that a suspicious man had entered the rear yard of a residence located on the 200 block of W. Westfield Ave. on the morning of June 10. The resident claimed that the individual was not known to the area.

Police said, upon arrival they cleared the residence and found the basement doors to be unlocked and wide open. The witness described the suspicious person as a black male wearing a green jacket, black pants, and a black hat. She also stated that the man had left the area prior to the police arrival walking east bound on W. Westfield Ave., said police. 

The Roselle Police department was advised of the incident and responded that they had an individual detained matching the description given.

Roselle Park Police said, that an on scene identification was made by the witness who identified the man as the suspicious man seen in Roselle park. 

Police said, the man was identified as, Almighty D. God-Allah, (Aka: Derrick B. Leach), age 50 from Roselle. Following an investigation, God-Allah was formally charged with burglary, by Detective Richard Cocca, God-Allah was released with a summons with a Union County Superior Court date.
