ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Roselle Park Police were called to an apartment complex on the 200 block of E. Westfield Ave. on June13, for a burglary that was committed. Police say, they found that the apartment complex was forcefully entered. Once inside, the two coin operated dryer’s in the laundry room were tampered with resulting in the coin mechanism to be pried off and all the change from inside the machines to be removed.
On June 20, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Detective Richard Cocca and Det. Edward Nortrup arrested Leon C. Holston, age 50 from Roselle, NJ for the burglary.
Police said, Holston was formally charged with Burglary, Theft and Criminal Mischief. He was processed and served with a warrant and was ultimately lodged into the Union County Jail with no bail.
