Atlantic City, NJ - This week is the 102nd Annual League of Municipalities Conference in Atlantic City. One of the highlights for Roselle was an announcement that Mayor Christine Dansereau was elected as the North Region Vice President of the Urban Mayor's Association.

“They picked the best woman for the job,” said 1st. Ward Councilwoman Denise Wilkerson, in a Facebook post.

Dansereau posted on her Facebook page,  “I am so proud and honored that the New Jersey Urban Mayor's Association saw fit to nominate and elect me to be the North Region Vice President of the Urban Mayor's Association. I am looking forward to working with the Executive Board of Urban Mayors to have the needs of our communities heard in Trenton and Washington. We will be present to support the initiatives of Governor-Elect Phil Murphy and to keep him aware of the unique and different needs within our Urban Communities. Thank you once again to the New Jersey Urban Mayor's Association for their vote of Confidence.”
