ROSELLE PARK, NJ - The Roselle Park Memorial Day Parade reappears this year in full regalia. Kick-off is on Monday, May 29, at 10 a.m.
The parade will begin at Sherman School on East Grant Ave. and proceed past the reviewing stand on Chestnut Street and the corner of East Grant Ave. ending on the grounds of the Veterans’ Memorial Library.
“This year’s parade is going to be huge,” said Rupen Shah, Director of the Casano Community Center. “We have more people participating than ever before.”
This year’s Grand Marshal will be Joseph Verdun. Born 1947 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Joseph joined the Marine Corps in 1966 after graduating from high school.
Immediately after the parade there will be a Memorial Day Service on the front grounds of the library followed by a free picnic at the Casano Community Center located at 314 Chestnut Street.
