ROSELLE PARK, NJ - The Roselle Park Fire Dept. (RPFD), held its 78th Annual Memorial Service on Wednesday evening at the Volunteers Memorial at Kelly-Kalufers Park.

Master of ceremonies, Chief Joseph Signarello opened the event by welcoming guests and families. The opening prayer was given by Pastor Manuel P. Cruz

The National Anthem and TAPS was performed by The Roselle Park High School Band during the ceremony.

Councilman/Fire Commissioner Joseph Petrosky, and Mayor Carl Hokanson briefly spoke to the community. Former Mayors Joe Acardi and Joe DeIorio along with council members were also in attendance.

The roll call of deceased members was read while a bell rung out for each person and a the custom of lighting the lights on the fire emblem. The event ended with Bagpiper David Kuperberg playing Amazing Grace. 

The closing prayer was given by Rev. James F. Spera and carnations were presented to each of the families of deceased members.
