ROSELLE PARK, NJ - On Thursday, May 18, students, faculty and staff of Roselle Park High School (RPHS) will reach a milestone. They have been saving lives by hosting two blood drives a year with New Jersey Blood Services (NJBS) since 2011.
The upcoming blood drive will host their 1,500 donor! Since donated blood is separated into three components, RPHS students, faculty/staff and friends, they have touched the lives of close to 4,500 area patients.
Join in on the fun and help RPHS celebrate their milestone blood drive on Thursday, May 18, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the school gym, located at 185 W. Webster Ave, in Roselle Park.
Eligible donors must be at least 16 yrs. old with a signed NJBS parental consent form, weigh 110 lbs. or more, and are in good health.
Bringing your donor card to the drive will help registration go more quickly but all donors can give blood with a photo or signature ID.
By eating and drinking at regular meal times, you will help to ensure a good donation experience. For more information, call 732-672-5281.
