ROSELLE PARK, NJ - On Sunday, July 5, 2015 Lyman L. Thompson, Sr., 85, lifelong Roselle Park resident and former Councilman who served the community in the 1980’s passed away peacefully.
“He was a real people person,” said Roselle Park Mayor Carl Hokanson. “He was a real good man.”
Visitation is 6pm to 9pm on Wednesday at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park. At the request of the family the morning of the funeral will be private.
He is predeceased by his wife Dolores C. (Fisher) Thompson. Surviving are two loving children Lyman L. Thompson, Jr. and April C. Gilroy and her husband William G.; dear brother Harold Nelson; and three adored grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, and Tyler.
