ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Roselle Park Police have announced the return of the Community Neighborhood Watch Program.
“We used to have a watch program in the borough, but it seemed to have fallen off over the years,” said Ptl. Greg Polakoski. “I think it is extremely important for the police department and the residents to work together and have open communication to address crime and other quality of life issues. The neighborhood watch program is one such way we can achieve this.”
The first scheduled meeting date for the Neighborhood Watch Program will be on August 18, at 7 p.m. in the Roselle Park Borough Court Room located at, 110 East Westfield Ave.
All residents are invited to come to this short organizational meeting. It will consist of a brief presentation followed by and open forum discussion to address any questions or concerns.
Light refreshments will be available.
As a bonus each resident who attends will have an opportunity to win a Ring video doorbell that’s worth $199.00.
The Police Dept. also reminds everyone that “National Night Out,” the police-community awareness event will be held on August 1, this year.
