ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Many came out to the Roselle Park High School on Saturday for the 2nd. Annual “Festival of India” Celebration and Cultural Fair. 

The event featured traditional food followed by an opening dance performance and live music by Desi Beats Entertainment.  Everyone gather in the gym for “Garba” the traditional Indian dance. 

Roselle Park Councilman Thos Shipley who attended the event posted on his Facebook saying, “A wonderfully enjoyable evening at the Festival of India at the Roselle Park High School. A fantastic display of color, dance and food and a great event for all members of the community to participate and appreciate.” 

The event was sponsored by the Roselle Park Casano Center Association, Roselle Park Education Association and their sponsors, Rita Pharmacy, Quality Auto Center, 7-11(Westfield Ave), Roselle Park Liquors & Food, Super One Communications, Indo American Senior Association of Union County, Dunkin Donuts, and Bombay Spice II.

ELIZABETH, NJ - The Goethals Bridge to New Jersey will be closed to all traffic beginning 9 p.m. Friday, May 18 until 9 p.m. Sunday, May 20.
