ROSELLE PARK, NJ - A record crowd of Roselle Park residents over age 55 flocked to the Casano Community Center on Wednesday, July 15, for the annual Senior Picnic.

More than 60 Seniors enjoyed traditional picnic-style fare, including grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, and an array of salads to kick off the events. After lunch, they played bingo, “Left Right Center”, and enjoyed a music from 60’s.

Continuing the picnic theme, ice cream was served at the break, according to Casano Center Director Rupen Shah. “Everyone had a lot of fun,” Shah said. “We have a great group of seniors in Roselle Park, and wonderful volunteers to help run our events.”

The Casano Center is sponsoring a wide variety of other upcoming events, from family-friendly movies Monday at 6 p.m. and Fridays at 3 p.m., bus trips to the Sands Casino, Point Pleasant Beach, malls, lunch spots, and more. There’s also three nutritious mid-day meals offered each week and activities from bingo to “Left right Center” and Laughing Yoga. Roselle Park residents are invited to check out the many happenings.
