ROSELLE PARK, NJ - The Borough in celebration of their 13th Arbor Day, will be donating a Heritage Birch tree to Sherman Elementary School.

Mayor Hokanson, Borough Council and school superintendent Pedro Garrido along with students from Sherman Elementary will plant the tree with a short ceremony on Friday, April 28, at 2 p.m. in the front of the School located at 375 East Grant Avenue. 

To further celebrate Arbor Day, seedlings obtained by the Borough through the New Jersey Forest Service’s Community Forestry Program, will be distributed to 100 students at the closing of the ceremony to plant.
