ROSELLE PARK, NJ - The Roselle Park community will be celebrating the third annual “Festival of India” event in September.
Mayor Hokanson and Council members invite everyone to come out on September 16, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. to celebrate the heritage and culture of India. The event is free for everyone and will be held at the Roselle Park High School located at 185 West Webster Avenue.
Experience traditional food, and traditional dance performances, with live music by Desi Beats Entertainment.
Everyone will gather in the cafeteria area at 6 p.m. for free traditional food followed by “Garba” and “Ras” traditional Indian dance in the gym area.
The event is sponsored with the help of the Roselle Park Casano Center Association, Roselle Park Education Association, Rita Pharmacy, Quality Auto Center, 7-11 (Westfield Avenue), Indo-American Senior Association of Union County, and Dunkin Donuts.
