Roselle Park’s SummerFest Presents Cool Events For a Hot Summer Month

On a hot night come out to air conditioned events at the Casano Community Center and the Veterans Memorial Library. Or enjoy the summer breeze at the town’s annual fireworks and Dancing Under the Stars events. Here is the rundown on our July lineup:

Enjoy an evening of poetry at the Poetry Night At the Library. Thurs July 10, 6:30-7:45PM

Got little ones who love to dance? Then bring them down to learn ballroom dancing at Dancing With the Stars Thurs July 31, 6:30 PM. Presented by Arthur Murray Dance Studios.

Roselle Park is easy to reach by car or public transportation. New Jersey Transit buses 58, 94, and 113 stop in the heart of the downtown, the Raritan Valley train station is four blocks to the north on Chestnut St., and the Garden State Parkway’s exit 137 is a short drive west of town on Westfield Ave. Also, Route 28 passes right through Roselle Park’s downtown Westfield Ave.

Be sure to also visit the downtown commercial district which enhances Roselle Park’s small-town ambience with its diverse offerings of independently owned shops and restaurants rather than any chain outlets.
