Save the Dates for Summer Fun at St. Anthony’s Italian Feast

Plan to begin your family’s summer fun with four evenings of non-stop family entertainment and exciting rides starting June 4, 2015.

The Church of the Assumption’s annual St. Anthony Italian Family Feast returns for its 15th year and there will be more entertainers than in 2014, plus a new ride company has been engaged with all new and different rides this year.

The events, located on the Church grounds at 113 Chiego Place, Roselle Park, will begin on Thurs 6/4 6:00-11:00pm, Fri 6/5 6:00-11:00pm Sat 6/6 6:00-11:00pm Sun 6/7 2:00- 9:00pm. Contact rectory at 908-245-1107. Entry to the grounds is free.

Here is a breakdown of the performers and times committed as of April

Thurs. 6/4 from 7-9pm The Garden State Cowgirl, Nikki Briar & The Sweet Briar Band Mix of country & rock Performs all over the tri-state area, Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts

Fri. 6/5 from 8-10pm Baron-Montemurro Duo Acoustic rock guitar duo, cover rock & pop favorites

Sat. 6/6 from 8-10pm The Jersey Four # 1 Tribute show to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, 10 piece band, All LIVE music & vocals under the musical direction of Joe (La Bracio) Long of the Four Seasons

Sun 6/7 from 2:30 – 3:00pm Leona M Seufert

Roselle Park’s Poet Laureate will do a poetry program of her summer themed poems

Sun. 6/7 from 6-8pm Jimmy Alleva A true Italian-American vocal experience performs throughout the tri-state area

Once again local dance, karate, and music schools will perform and do demonstrations:

Fri 6/5 from 6:30 – 7:00pm Susie Karlik’s Dance Sensation, 7:00 – 7:30pm Kick It Up Training and 7:30 – 8:00pm Sharon Sutera Fit.

Sat 6/6 from 6:00 – 6:30pm Union’s United Tae Kwon Do Academy, 7:00 – 7:30pm Planet Dance

Sun 6/7 from 5 – 5:30pm Fusion Dance Centre

For children of all ages, this year there will be 10 new exciting rides from Blue Sky Amusements (more than the previous years). So if you’ve attended the Feast in previous years, this will be an entirely new experience! Blue Sky Amusements is known for providing safe, clean, and entertaining rides to fairs, festivals, and events throughout the states of New York and New Jersey. 

Pre-Sale ride tickets, at a discounted price, will be available after all Masses starting in May. Thurs, 6/4, and Sun 6/7 will be "Pay-One-Price" wristband nights (not available at presale).  Also Blue Sky Amusements, the Feast’s ride company, will be providing coupons to save $3 off the wristbands. These coupons will be placed at local participating retail locations in and around town.

If rain arrives on any of these days, there are alternate plans to have the entertainment for that day in the parish’s spacious Msgr. Loreti Hall. Food, cooked in the certified kitchen on the premises, will be available to purchase for eat in or take out. The beer garden will be on hand with wine and beer. And the Money Wheel will be brought down! So don’t let bad weather deter you and your family from a night of fun.
