ROSELLE, NJ - The Roselle School Board held a special presentation at the Monday evening meeting. School board President Dr. Atkins introduced the civil engineers from CME Associates who talked about a new early stage beautification project to give the Roselle Schools greater curb appeal.
“We want our schools to look and feel more like a Campus,” said Dr. Atkins.
Designs were shown for each school with examples of how they could look that included everything from playgrounds, to community gardens.
When asked by a resident, “How much will the project cost?” Dr. Atkins stated that it is still in the early stages of planning and they will evaluate each school for their needs and upgrades.
It is uncertain at this time how the funding will be acquired for the project. The time frame of contraction was also discussed and the engineers said that it would have to be done in phases with a few schools every summer until completed.
