ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Disco is coming back, at least to Roselle Park, for a free concert on Saturday, September 9, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Michael J. Mauri Gazebo Park in downtown Roselle Park.
“Studio 54 - The Sounds of Disco” is a highly entertaining show with a entertaining and educational program. Joe Caroselli and his group present the Disco hits that are a “must play” for a fun evening. Songs by Donna Summer, Michael Jackson, Barry White, Gloria Gaynor, the Bee Gees, the Village People, KC and the Sunshine Band, and more will be featured and explored - along with the fashion and media fads of that era.
Mayor Carl Hokanson and Council members invite family, friends, and neighbors, to pack a lawn chair or blanket and join them for an evening of music in the heart of downtown.
The concert is free and open to the public. The program is made possible in part by a HEART (History, Education, Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant from the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
