ROSELLE PARK, NJ - A local resident was robbed in the early morning hours on Tuesday, October 13, at the 100 block of West Roselle Avenue in Roselle Park. 

The victim, a 52 year old resident stated that he was standing near a vehicle when a dark colored SUV pulled up next to him. 

The driver was described as a heavy set black male in his 30’s, wearing a camouflage shirt. The passenger was described as a thin dark skinned black male in his 30’s wearing braided hair, a goatee and wearing a camouflage shirt.

According to Roselle Park police, the males began to ask the victim for directions as the passenger exited the vehicle and held an unknown object, believed to be a stun gun, against the victims’ chest and demanded his wallet.   

The victim attempted to run away, however the suspect pushed him to the ground and began to struggle with him activating the stun gun. After a brief struggle the suspect fled the area in the SUV without the victims possessions.
