Springfield, NJ (October 16, 2015) – On Saturday, October 10, more than 200 runners and walkers (and a few family dogs!) showed their support for Step Up For The Arc at Oak Ridge Park in Clark, which raised $10,000 for adults and children with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

The annual 5K and 1 Mile Walk was flanked by sunshine. Sponsoring the event was PSE&G, AEPG Wealth Management, NJ Manufacturers, Wakefern Food Corporation, and Document Solutions.

The Arc of Union County extends a huge thank you to these sponsors, as well as the many individuals who donated to the event and encouraged friends, family, and colleagues to do so.

“This is a family friendly event that we look forward to every year. It not only supports our organization, but allows the community to interact with our individuals – such as adults in our group homes or children at The Arc Kohler School in Mountainside who the funding provides for,” said Frank X. Caragher, Executive Director of the Arc of Union County.

The Arc will host its Candlelight Cocktail Party on March 24, 2016 at the Grand Summit Hotel.
