ROSELLE, NJ - A car hit an SUV and sent it crashing into the back of a NJ Transit bus on the corner of Sheridan Ave and E. 2nd Ave. around 3:20 p.m.on Thursday afternoon.

According to Roselle Police at the scene a truck owned by Allizzon Produce from Bronx, NY,  was parked in the crosswalk at the intersection and was blocking the stop sign. Police are investigating whether that could have possibly been part of the cause of the accident. The car, an Infiniti, ran through the intersection hitting a Ford SUV and sending it into the back of the bus where it rested partially on its side.

The NJ Transit bus was loaded with passengers at the time but there were no reported injuries. Police said, there was one complaint of a minor injury, that being from the driver of the SUV. Passengers from the bus were loaded onto another bus to continue on their way.

Retro Review: Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo

Retro Review: Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo (Citadel Press, 1970)
