Elizabeth, NJ, - The Urban League of Union County Young Professionals proudly presents their 2nd annual black tie affair and fundraiser, YP Honors! On Saturday, March 21, 2015, a group of deserving young professionals affiliated with the Union County area, will be honored for the great strides they have made within their community and in their field of employment. YP Honors will bring together a wide range of Young Professionals from all over the Tri-State Area and celebrate those who strive, like us, to empower our communities while changing lives.
As an auxiliary of the Urban League of Union County, a nonprofit 501©3 organization, our goal is to promote and support the Urban League's mission of achieving social and economic parity by empowering communities and changing lives in Union County. Our core initiatives are focused on jobs, health, education, and housing. Our chapter exceeded in carrying out our core objectives, and was recognized as Rookie Chapter of the year by the National Urban League Young Professionals in 2013.
