ROSELE, NJ - The Abraham Clark High School Varsity Football team have quite the accomplishments this year and were recognized at this weeks Board of Education meeting on Mon. evening. 

The team finished their 2016 season as the Mid-State 38 Football Conference Valley Division Champions. 

Two seniors, Robert Stephens and Shaquil Jones, were inducted into the National Honor Society, while eleven players on the team made the honor roll for the first marking quarter.

Grade 9 - 2 football players

Grade 10 - 3 football players   

Grade 11 - 3 football players

Grade 12 - 3 football players

Additionally, the Varsity Football Players maintain an overall GPA of 2.65 (B average). Below is the team line up that were recognized. 

Second Team All-State - Isiah Byrd

First Team All-Group 2 Offense - Isiah Byrd, Shaquil Jones

Third Team All-Group 2 Offense - Gerald Hairston III

First Team All-Group 2 Defense - Drew Stephens

Second Team All-Group 2 Defense - Xavier Young

Third Team All-Group 2 Defense - Du’Quan Ware, Nasir Cherry

First Team All-Conference Offense - Isiah Byrd, Drew Stephens, Tyreke Benjamin

First Team All-Conference Defense - Shaquil Jones, Xavier Young, Robert Stephens, Du’Quan Ware

Second Team All-Conference Offense - Tashaun Hutchins, Adham Khalil

Second Team All-Conference Defense - Nasir Cherry, Junior Jean, Craig McRae, Khair Pendleton

Athletic Director John Schmid, gave an update to the B.O.E. members about their year and showed the trophy they received as Conference champions. Coach James Williams who was named the Mid-State 38 Conference Coach of the Year, spoke about the teams success this year. Video Highlights Below.
