William A. Fahoury Announced as Republican Candidate for Third Ward Credits: Roselle Park Republican Municipal Committee

The Roselle Park Republican Municipal Committee is proud to announce today their endorsement of William A. Fahoury as their candidate for Roselle Park’s third ward councilman.

William Fahoury, born and raised in Roselle Park is the son of Barbara Nutt-Fahoury and Ed Fahoury, long-time residents and volunteers of the borough.

William served active duty for 4 years in the Marine Corps earning the rank of Corporal. William was in the infantry with the 3rd Battalion 6th Marine Regiment and while serving with his unit he was deployed to Afghanistan, Japan and the Philippines.

William earned an Associates Degree at Union County College, and while there he was accredited with the President’s Honors List for academic achievement. He was recently awarded a three year Academic Scholarship at Seton Hall where he will be attending the University in the fall.

“I thank the Roselle Park Republican committee for their faith in my council candidacy. I look forward to meeting the residents of the third ward and listening to the concerns about issues important to them and Roselle Park.” said the third ward candidate

Current third ward Republican Councilman Ryan Kelly announced that he would not be seeking reelection to devote time to his new family and work commitments. Election day is Tuesday, November 8th. Follow Will's candidacy at #willsgotyourback

ROSELLE, NJ - The Roselle-based community organizing group Community Acting Now will examine the book “The Black Tax: The Cost of Being Black in America" by author Shawn D. Rochester as part of a commemoration of Black History Month.
