ROSELLE/ROSELLE PARK, NJ - A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for eastern and western Union County calling for a wintry mix on Sunday and into Sunday night. Possible snow, sleet and ice can be expected and hazardous, slippery travel due to snow and ice accumulations.
The National Weather Service has also issued a High Wind Watch from Monday morning into Monday afternoon. Winds are expected from the Northwest at 25 to 35 mph with potential for gusts up to 60 mph. A possibility of strong winds blowing down tree limbs and power lines exists. Scattered power outages can also be expected. The High Wind Watch is in effect until Monday evening at 6 p.m.
