ROSELLE, NJ - On Saturday, August 29, a Zumbathon was held at Abraham Clark High School in Roselle hosted by Life Options Counseling Services, (LOCS).
“Everyone here is trying to help raise awareness to stomp out the stigma of mental health and substance abuse issues,” said Jessica Bullock along with her husband Kevin owners of LOCS. “This is my hometown so everything that we do we want to give back to Union County.”
Proceeds from the event was shared with the “Smith Hero Foundation” an organization who’s mission is to assist the families of any police, fire,or EMS worker that has died for any unexpected circumstance. The organization creates an avenue for resources for any kind of needs and raises money for the families when needed.
