Mayor Colleen Mahr has been a pillar of consistency in Union County for the last 20 years, having devoted her life to public service. There is no one more qualified and capable to lead us as our next Union County Democratic Committee Chair.
Colleen has mentored, coached and supported countless candidates running for office in Union County, all across our 21 municipalities.
In both the good times and in the more challenging moments, she has been there. She has routinely put in the work needed for Democrats to win elections by helping fundraise, canvas, phone back, talk through a problem on the phone--whatever is needed, she is there. No questions asked, no favors in return--she just shows up and gets the job done. This is exactly the type of leadership we need at this moment.
Colleen's leadership in Statewide organizations is a tribute to the respect that she's earned from elected officials on both sides of the aisle and -- to my thinking -- shows the kind of leadership that Union County Democrats need to face today's challenges.
I'm impressed by Colleen's steadfast hard-work, ability to bring people together and, simply put, get the job done. I'm supporting Colleen for County Chair to bring together a new generation of stronger and more active Union County Democrats.
Join me in voting #Mahr4Chair: Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the Grand Centurion in Clark.
