2018 Stuff the Bus - United Way of Greater Union County

Help Provide Ready-to-Learn Backpacks for children across Union County

In July, United Way of Greater Union County (UWGUC) kicked off its annual Stuff the Bus campaign with a collection drive to supply children who reside in Union County, NJ with new school supplies and backpacks. 

The organization is asking the public for help in providing children in grades PreK-8th with “Ready-to-Learn” backpacks filled with school supplies before they go back to school in the Fall.   Dates of the collection drive are between July 2 – August 14, 2018, and pick up dates begin on August 16th.  Common school supplies needed are notebooks, calculators, rulers, pens, folders and pencils.  

Items can be dropped off at United Way office at 33 West Grand Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07202. Backpacks and supplies can also be purchased online at https://www.roonga.com/uwgucstuffthebus2018
