ROSELLE PARK, NJ - The Borough of Roselle Park has announced the communities first annual Celebration of Colors “A celebration of Pride for everyone” that will include a color run, without the run!
The event is set for Sunday, May 19 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. at Roselle Park High School’s Herm Shaw Field.
Mayor Signorello and the Borough Council invites everyone to participate in this family-friendly event to celebrate family, equality, diversity, and community, the event includes a special guest speaker, performances, entertainment, giveaways, games by the recreation committee, education stations from statewide LGBTQ organizations, and free unlimited fun for all age groups.
The event also includes a “Celebration of Colors.” The event serves as a medium to unite and celebrate a diverse community. It is a color run without the ‘run,’ where everyone will receive a bag of nontoxic color powder to color each other and hoping they leave the event with a stronger commitment to celebrating our Borough’s diverse community.
In addition, the event will also feature showing 1988 hit movie “Hairspray”. So bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show. There will be food vendors on site for your convenience.
