ROSELLE/ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Ghosts, Goblins, and well, you name it, people in all kinds of costumes even a baby Trump balloon, were out in full force on Wednesday night for Halloween.

In Roselle, the annual Trunk or Treat was taken up a notch this year with the addition of more bounce houses, games and even a live DJ playing music. Local youth had somewhere to go to get some treats and hang out in a safe place.

In Roselle Park, along with the usual trick or treats, people from all over came to what could be called historic Bender Avenue. Police barricaded the avenue for several blocks and added lights for the occasion that attracts thousands of people showing up every year.

This year was no different with the exception that it looked like more adults also dressed up to jump in on the fun with everyone grabbing selfies with other characters.

Speaking of characters, at one point in the evening a flash mob broke out on the corner of Bender and Grant Ave. with the dancers from Roselle Parks own Dancer’s Pointe’ along with some residents all dressed up as zombies or other characters, took over the street and danced to Michael Jacksons “Thriller”.

Highlights of Bender Avenue and the flash mob dance can be viewed below.
