ROSELLE/ROSELLE PARK, NJ – The countdown has already begun and Santa Claus has been cleared for take-off for his around the world flight on Christmas Eve.

At the North American Aerospace Defense Command, senior officials are already tracking Santa on this the 64th year of making sure nothing will interfere with his route.

While unavailable for comment due to his busy work schedule, Santa issued a statement, saying, “My reindeer are hooked up to my sleigh, and we will be ready to go for Christmas.”

Anyone who wants to help the reindeer and Santa on their journey, Santa suggests leaving a plate of cookies and milk for him and his reindeer. 

Carrots are also a favorite for the reindeer, Santa added.

Local weather forecasters say the skies are going to be clear, so keep your eyes open - you may just catch a glimpse of Santa and his sleigh.
