ROSELLE PARK, NJ - The “Roselle Park Loves Arts!” festival scheduled for Saturday September 24, is growing by the week says committee planners.
Last week the Montclair Art Museum (MAM ) truck, a mobile open studio that brings art projects directly to festivals, was in Roselle Park for the communities car and art show. They offered children the opportunity to build a transformation mask, as part of a rolling art project that allows participants to drawn a picture of their favorite animal and some finger painting to the mask at each MAM truck stop.
The MAM truck will return to Roselle Park along with a host of other great art projects for the festival. “We cannot wait to come back for the “Roselle Park Loves Arts” festival in September,” said Peg Kenselaar from MAM.
The event committee is currently looking for volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, showcasing and displaying your art, or for more information about the festival, visit www.rplovesarts.org.
