“Thank you everyone for tuning in and watching our live ambushes of the winners! We had so much fun organizing this event and look forward to it becoming a tradition,” said Jayme Lynn Negron. “Thank you again to all of our awesome sponsors and nominees! Roselle Park is sparkling brighter than ever because of you all!”
“First we all want to thank our Santa! Deputy Chief Ray Parenteau from our fire dept. was fantastic and really helped to make this event so memorable for so many. Also a huge thanks to Fire Chief Joe Signorello who allowed us to have Santa and the fire company join in on this event,” said Executive Director Joe DeIorio. “On behalf of our Roselle Park 24/7 board members, Jodi Bellomo, Thos Shipley, and Roselle 24/7 CEO Kathy Lloyd and Doreen Rinaldo, we want to thank the Roselle Park Christmas and Holiday Lighting Contest committee ‘Sparkle Squad’ Jayme Lynn Negron, Donna Taylor, Alicia Davitt Marino, Jason DiOrio and youngest and best judges ever, Ayden and Bryce for all of their hard work.”
“What started out as a simple idea from Jayme to make Roselle Park “sparkle” turned into an incredible lifting of community spirit during this winter season. Like the song says, We Need a Little Christmas Now…… and I believe we all, including everyone in Roselle Park, got that spirit this season,” added DeIorio. “Congratulations to the winners and to all the nominees. The decisions were extremely difficult but we loved each one of the entries.”
