ROSELLE, PARK, NJ - What a night for the kids and adults alike as Santa arrived in style by way of the “parade of lights" on Friday evening at Roselle Park’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Gala at the Michael Mauri Gazebo Park.
Residents, groups, and organizations participated in the parade by decorating their vehicles with holiday lights and ornaments and made their way through town ending on Chestnut Street and Grant Avenue. For the children, it was the perfect way to usher in the long-awaited arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Entertainment was provided by the students of the Roselle Park School District, Choir, Hand Bell Choir, and also some solo performances.
Special performances from Planet Dance, Dancers Pointe, and Susie Karlik’s Dance Sensation also delighted the crowd. Food trucks were on hand for refreshments and activities that included an ice skating rink, pony rides, and of course family photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus,
Highlights of the parade and the evening's entertainment can be viewed below.
