ROSELLE/ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Two Christmas events are coming up in both communities for the Holiday season.
First up, the Roselle’s Christmas Tree Lighting and Winter Wonderland on Monday, December 3.
Mayor Christine Dansereau, the Roselle Borough Council, Department of Recreation, Fire Dept. and the Roselle PBA invite the community to come out for their Christmas Tree Lighting & Winter Wonderland, on Monday, Dec. 3 from 6-9 p.m. on Chestnut Street between 1st and 3rd avenues.
Hot chocolate from Rita’s Water Ice will be provided to keep you warm while entertainment from “DJ Lil Man” will perform to keep your body moving. The Roselle Girl Scout Troops 40323 and 40587 will be there, along with Amanda Naggy and the Roselle District Elementary Choir.
Next, the Borough of Roselle Park invites everyone to celebrate the magic of the season with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Gala on Friday, December 7, at Michael Mauri Gazebo Park, located at the corner of Chestnut Street and Grant Avenue.
Join Mayor Carl A. Hokanson and the Borough Council beginning at 5 p.m. for family activities including pony rides, a Ferris wheel, and live Christmas entertainment.
Children can enjoy free pizza, refreshments and a special holiday treat compliments of the Roselle Park Local PBA 27 (while supplies last).
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 6 p.m. for photos in the Gazebo until 8 p.m.
Beginning at 7 p.m., guests will be entertained with live seasonal music by Mr. W and the Roselle Park High School, Middle School and Elementary School Choirs, a special performance from Roselle Park’s Dancers Pointe, and songs from Councilman Thos Shipley. The Christmas Tree Lighting will follow at 8 p.m.
